Who we are and what the service is
What we collect, and how we handle it, is on the privacy page.
CDX Payable LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we"), offers CommunityDX, a market tool for dental practices, veterinary clinics, and medical groups in the United States.
You use it to study an area: who lives there, which specialists already practice there, and where a new location might fit. Atlas and Report Builder show public census statistics and public specialist listings.
CommunityDX is not a patient-record system. It is not clinical advice.
These terms cover communitydx.com, including Atlas, Report Builder, your account, checkout, and support. The public Atlas demo does not require an account.
Our mailing address is 2610 State Street, Dallas, Texas 75204.
Who may use it
CommunityDX is built for people and practices in the United States.
CommunityDX is not directed at children under 13.
The paid product requires an account. Signup asks for your name, email, profession (dentist or veterinarian), and a password. Phone is optional.
An organization signup also asks for the organization name. The profession on that signup is the profession for the whole organization. The owner is responsible for the people added to that organization.
An owner or admin can create a teammate's account with that person's name, email, and a starter password. The email cannot already have a CommunityDX account. The teammate chooses a new password before using the product.
You are responsible for activity under your login. Tell us if you think someone used your account without permission.
Plans and fees
Two plans are for sale. Each is a flat monthly price, in US dollars. There is no annual plan and no free trial.
- CommunityDX Individual is $199 a month.
- CommunityDX Organization is $899 a month.
Checkout shows the amount you will be charged, including any promotion code we accept.
The Organization price covers the organization. It is not a per-person price. The product caps an organization at 10 members, including the owner, and 3 admins. Individual has no roster.
Each person can save up to 25 map pins. Sharing a pin with your organization does not change whose 25 it counts against.
An Individual account can store up to 50 custom locations. An organization can store up to 500 custom locations in total, across everyone on the plan. Deleting a stored location frees that space.
An Individual account can generate 10 reports in a billing period. An organization can generate 30 reports in a billing period, shared across everyone on the plan. A billing period runs from one renewal to the next. The allowance resets each period and does not roll over. Deleting a finished report does not give the report back.
These prices do not include sales tax. Checkout does not add tax today.
You cannot switch plans yourself. To change plans, contact support.
Billing and renewal
Checkout is Stripe's form, on our signup page. Stripe collects the card details. We do not store your full card number or security code.
Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. We charge the card on file at the start of each new period.
You can update the card and see invoices in the billing portal.
A failed payment is not a cancellation. If a charge is declined, you keep access while the card is retried for 14 days. If those retries do not succeed, the subscription ends.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime in the billing portal. You do not need to contact support to cancel.
You keep full access through the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing renews after that.
Refunds
Refunds are not automatic. Canceling does not create a refund.
Email [email protected] or use the support page to ask about a charge. We will work with you on that request.
Only CDX Payable LLC admins can issue a refund. A refund does not end your access.
If you already pay for Individual and you want an organization to cover you, contact support. The organization form cannot add an email that already has an account, and it does not cancel an Individual subscription. Time left on that Individual plan is not automatically refunded.
Your content and uploads
You can save searches, pins, and places you label as a partner, owned, excluded, or a custom location. A custom location can include a name, an address, a category, notes, and coordinates.
You can upload a spreadsheet of names and US street addresses. Those rows become custom locations on the account.
A report includes the address you asked about and the file we generate.
Pins and saved places start private to you. You can share them with your organization. A shared item shows your display name. If none is stored, it shows Team member. If you are in an organization, a report is visible to the other members from the moment it is created.
You keep ownership of what you upload and what you type. You give us permission to store it, display it to you, and display a shared item to your organization, so the product can do those things.
A label you put on a location stays in your account. It does not edit the public listing.
Acceptable use
Use CommunityDX for your own market work. Do not:
- Upload patient records, medical charts, or other information you are not allowed to share.
- Upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
- Scrape, overload, or interfere with the service so that it breaks for others.
- Try to get into an account, organization, or saved item that is not yours.
- Resell access, or share a login so someone outside the account can use a paid plan.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
Public data
Census statistics and specialist listings come from public sources. We do not verify that a practice owns a location, and a pin label is not proof of ownership.
Figures in Atlas and Report Builder can be incomplete or out of date. A provider count is not a count of potential patients. Do not use CommunityDX as medical, legal, or financial advice.
Our intellectual property
We own CommunityDX, including the site, the software, and our name and branding. These terms do not give you that ownership.
You may use the product while your subscription allows it. You may not copy the software, or present our branding as your own.
Third parties
Stripe runs checkout, card storage, invoices, and the billing portal. Card data stays with Stripe.
The privacy page names the other companies that help us run the service. These terms do not restate that page.
Disclaimers and limit of liability
CommunityDX is provided as is. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, or that census figures, listings, or a report are complete, current, or right for a business decision.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or other indirect losses arising from your use of the service. The most we will owe you for claims about the service is $1,000.
Some states do not allow certain limits. Those laws still apply where they must.
Ending an account
You can cancel as described above. Access continues through the paid period, then stops.
If we suspend or close an account for a break of these terms, we will tell you at the email on the account when we can.
Removing a teammate who has no Individual subscription of their own deletes that account. Their saved work on that account is deleted with it. They cannot sign in after that, and the email can be used for a new account later. A teammate who already has an Individual billing record keeps that account.
There is no self-serve way to delete a login. Email [email protected] or use the support page to ask. Cancel the subscription first. Deleting an owner's login while a charge is still scheduled leaves the card with no account.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms by posting a new version on this page. We do not email terms changes.
Each version names the date it applies. A small change can apply the day we post it. When a change needs advance notice, that date is later than the day we post it.
If you keep using CommunityDX after the new version applies, you are agreeing to it. If you do not agree, cancel before the new version applies.
Governing law
The laws of the State of Texas, and the United States laws that apply, govern these terms.
